On 21 October 2024, AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Center (AALCO-HKRAC) jointly organized a conference with sister center Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), attracting more than 300 legal professionals from Egypt and Hong Kong to attend. The Conference discussed the unique advantages of using Egypt and Hong Kong as a gateway for inter-regional deal making and dispute resolution and development of legal jurisprudence recovery, auction and licensing of art, antiques and cultural relics. AALCO-HKRAC and CRCICA signed a MoU at the Conference to further strengthen the cooperation in international arbitration, marking a closer connection between the legal communities of Hong Kong and Egypt. Looking forward, we aim to provide more efficient and transparent legal support for multinational businesses.
